This doyen of the Metropolitan Opera in New York was interviewed last summer by Neil Shestopal. In this interview, Mignon Dunn talks about her passion for the artform and her desire to help the next generation fulfil its potential on stage.
If you'd like to read more about this extraordinary woman, you can look at her webpage by clicking here. And if you'd like to see some footage of her teaching, please do go to our YouTube page where I've put a couple of her teaching sessions in the operaloversnet favourites.
And if you've ever seen her perform or been her student, we'd love to hear from you here at operalovers.net. Either post a note on the user comments on this page, or on the forum.

Young audiences (Report) I agree that more young people are becoming passionate about opera. I am a 21 year old vocal student and have been an opera fan for a few years now. Many of my fellow voice majors are also huge fans. Great podcast! |
